Top Racing Links:
Sandown Sat. 17/11/18. Prices from Sportsbet on Friday.
Race 5 Kevin Heffernan Stakes WFA Group 3 1300m.
Chamois Road ($7) placed when resuming at The Valley and has placed at this track, can do so again here. Missrock ($5.50) was 2nd in the Goodwood and also placed in the Schillachi Stakes, this is easier than the last assignment. Cool Passion ($7.5) is a last start winner at Flemington, go well again. Ellicazoom ($8) may not have appreciated the Soft track last time out, go on previous starts and looks will suited here.
Race 6 Sandown Stakes Quality Group 3 1500m.
Dollar For Dollar ($6.5) is last year’s winner of this race but was coming in then off a winning streak, could get into a place this time. Fastnet Tempest ($7.5) placed in the Sale Cup and this is an easier task than the G1 Cantala, can be in the finish. Sircconi ($7.5) wasn’t pushed to the line on a firm track at Flemington, can bounce back but the going will be dry again. Fifty Stars ($2.2) is in winning form, favourite for a reason. Fox Hall ($12) hasn’t been far away in 2 runs since resuming, at least a place chance in this.
Race 7 Sandown Guineas 3yo Group 2 1600m.
Ringerdingding ($3.2) is in winning form, first try at this distance the only question. Scottish Rogue ($8) placed at this trip in June, tongue tie goes on with could bring improvement. Secret Blaze ($8) placed at this distance at Flemington and is a winner here on the Lakeside track, could be the main danger. Zoutori ($11) has been running on late in recent starts and looks as though the extra ground may suit. Seabrook ($3.7) placed in the Caulfield Guineas and won the Champagne Stakes, good enough to win this.
Race 8 Zipping Classic WFA Group 2 2400m.
Ventura Storm ($6) will find this more suitable, didn’t run out the trip last start, Moonee Valley Cup winner in this class. Libran ($7.5) has placed at last 2 runs, that might be the best of him these days but can be in the finish. The Taj Mahal ($4) won this race last year, is he going as well this time in? Dal Harraild ($5.5) was 2nd in the Bendigo Cup and could be better suited here on a bigger track. Our Libretto ($5.5) was far away in the Matriarch running on late, not the worst and worth including in exotics.
Have a good weekend, happy punting.
